- This west declining vertical dial shows solar time with Roman hours from X to VII and half-hour marks. In 1899, the class of 1879 celebrated its twentieth anniversary by installing the sundial on the main tower of the Old Library on the south west side. This elegant dial has been preserved in excellent condition, but is hopelessly surrounded by trees. Photos by Lonneke Maes.
