NASS is pleased to offer a 3D printed astrolabe in the tradition of Chaucer, following Chaucer's manuscript of 1390. The astrolabe is 7 inches (18 cm) in diameter with the Climate Plate tailored to your latitude. Rete has 34 star positions.

This astrolabe is based on Chaucer's manuscript of 1390 and is reproduced in 3D printing of black PLA for the tympanium (holder), and bronze PLA for the climate plate, rete, and adilade. This is an accurate working instrument, with instructions and examples included. The ecliptic ring has been replaced with modern dates so no need to convert from zodiac house to calendar date. Delivered via USPS priority envelope.
