3 stones in the north-east quadrant

The large left stone is the alignment stone for the northernmost moonrise. the large stone at center is the alignment stone for summer solstice. When standing in the center of the sun-wheel, the smaller stone is in alignment with the solstice stone.

The 2 stones of the eastern portal.

When standing in the center of the sun-wheel, ideally the sun's rise at spring and fall equinox can be seen between these two stones. In actuality, trees and a small hill several miles away prevent view of the horizon and an observer will finally see the sun well above (and slightly south) of these equinoctal portals.
