Description:
  • The horizontal dial is in the spiral shape of a Nautilus. The dial was originally built in the 1920's and located at Amelia Peabody's Sun House at 145 Powisset Stree in Dover, MA.

    The restoration and relocation of the sundial to the Dover Public Library was carried out by Boy Scout Paul Krusell, as his project to become an Eagle Scout. His team restored the sundial to its original form by following photographs and seeking outside professional help as needed.
